Gardline secure contract extensions at London Array
Gardline Environmental’s Coastal Division has recently been awarded contract extensions at the London Array Offshore Wind Farm, owned by a partnership between E.ON, CDPQ (La Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec), DONG Energy and Masdar. These extensions mean that the Marian Array, Ellida Array and Smeaton Array, as well as the Gardian 7, will continue crew transfer operations supporting the O&M teams at London Array through the winter and into the New Year.
Gardline has worked closely with the O&M teams at London Array since 2011 performing at a consistently high level over the last five years with vessel utilisation averaging an impressive 98%. “We are looking forward to building on this over the winter”, commented Michael Martins, Coastal’s Business Manager. He went on to thank all the crews and engineers for “their continued hard work and the professionalism they demonstrate, which has undoubtedly helped achieve such excellent reliability and played a significant part in securing these contract extensions.”
