Environmental Impact Assessment

Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) is a vital part of the licensing process for both the renewable and oil and gas industries. EIA includes a review of existing literature and data to characterise the baseline environment in the proposed site, and an assessment of the potential impacts of different phases of the development (construction, operation, decommissioning) on this environment. Potential cumulative impacts are also assessed considering the in-combination effects of all known planned developments. Gardline Environmental Ltd has considerable experience in the EIA process, from environmental sampling and reporting to production of EIAs on benthic ecology, fish, shellfish and marine wildlife.
